Deep Dive into Skilled Trades

Skills Council of Canada will be launching comprehensive trade training programs for various trades throughout 2024 and 2025. These pre-apprenticeship programs will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the trade and provide them with essential skills to necessary for their career development in the trades.

Comprehensive Skill Acquisition: Offers in-depth, hands-on training in specific trades, enabling participants to develop a comprehensive set of skills.

Industry Standard Training: Aligns with industry standards, preparing participants for certification and industry employment.

Professional Development: Provides opportunities for continuous learning and upskilling, essential for career advancement in the trades industry.

Participant Requirements for Trade Training Program

To be eligible for our Trade Training Program, participants must meet the following criteria:

- Age: Must be between 15-29 years old
- Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Availability: Must be available for in-person class attendance in Brampton, ON.
- Career Interest: Must have an interest in pursuing a career in the skilled trades, specifically in construction, electrical, HVAC, or automotive/EV sectors.

Registrations for this program are only offered through our community partners and cannot be accepted through our regular email channels.
